Barco de Rocendo Rodriguez

This brightly painted and decorative ceramic party boat is by Rocendo Rodriguez, an artisan who did not come from a pottery producing tradition.  His own style evolved with influences from other folk artists.   His boat decks are scenes of people enjoying themselves and dancing like a corps of ballet.
